Okay, so I get the crazy idea that I should make some money, so I go to Camelot and pick an inventory of flax. I spin it into bowstring, then I go to the chapel and I start cutting down yew trees. The second I start chopping, I get a log and the tree disappears. I think to myself, “Wow, this is easy! I’m chopping these logs much faster than I ever remember doing before!”
For the next five minutes, NOTHING HAPPENS.
Now, I’m thinking to myself, “This sucks. I don’t think I’ll ever finish this inventory.”
I look around and there are three tree stumps. I wait a few minutes and they don’t come back long enough for me to run over and take a swing with my axe. With only three yew trees, everyone there probably only gets a few logs an hour.
I go southeast, to the patch of yew trees south of the flax field. Another hour passes. I have two logs left to chop. I get those two logs in the next five minutes.
I go to Catherby bank and think to myself, “I am never doing that again!”
I fletch 28 yew longbows, that’s all I have for my 1½ – 2 hour work. I look through my bank and I find 448 yew shortbows from before I could make longbows and 70 nature runes from who-knows-when. After I quickly thought it out in my head – 28+448=476, 476-70=406, 300*406=121800 – I pulled out 121,800 coins from my bank. After I bought 104 nature runes in the Catherby bank, it seemed that nobody had any more, so I went to the Camelot bank. I bought 302 more nature runes from a guy who had over 500 and here I am right now! Now it’s time for the fun part: alchemy… 🙂
