A new tradition: LlamaSlayers computer utility day
Starting today, the fifth of every month will be “LlamaSlayers computer utility day”. Join if you want, basically all you have to do is complete any or all of the tasks from the following list. After each task listed, there will be notes telling you how to do the task and why the task is important. Some of these tasks are for Windows computers (I don’t have a Mac or Linux computer so I can’t say anything to do for them, you’ll have to look elsewhere), some for WordPress blogs, and others for general things to do around computers on the fifth of every month.
Of course, you don’t have to do any of these, they’re just suggestions. And the fifth of every month is just a random date that popped into my head. You can celebrate your own computer utility day on any day you want. Continue reading
The dieing computer

Ok, so my old computer is slowly dieing. Slowly might be the wrong word. It is down to less than 200mb out of a total 10gb. (Both of those numbers might look a bit sad to you tech-savvy people out there) I’m thankful, however that the external hard drive connected to it is only about 5% filled out of a total of more than 20 times the space on the main hard drive.
Anyway, I tried backing up the entire hard drive via network, but Windows was using the hard drive so certain files couldn’t be read. Then I put in my ubuntu disk and rebooted to load the livecd environment. After a while of searching for the right options, I Continue reading
Linux Sucks
I’m in this computer class and I’m learning from the 
They’re showing us everything there is to know about computers. Our homework assignment for today is to find and put onto a CD version .2 of Kororaa (a linux-based operating system)
There are three reasons I am posting this here.
- People from my class said I have to.
- It is taking forever.
- I hope other people will share my misery.
