In almost all of the forum software out there, there is a way to make base-level forums that can’t be posted to.

The best error message ever!

All you have to do is go into a WordPress 2.6 or higher blog, go to edit any post, scroll down to the bottom of the page, choose a revision, make it so it compares one to itself, and boom!  The best error message ever!

haggisbot is going GPL

haggisbothaggisbot has been patrolling the Boston Glob chatroom since June 1st, 2008.  Soon, you’ll be able to have a haggisbot in your own IRC chatroom!

haggisbot 0.6 is the current version on the Boston Glob chatroom, but the code is being completely redone for version 1.0.

If you would like to help with the development of this new version of the bot, head on over to the LlamaSlayers GoogleCode webpage and see if you can find any mistakes.  haggisbot is available for SVN access, but 0.6 is no longer being developed, and 1.0 is not ready to be used.

Anyway, we at Mad Haggis Enterprises hope that haggisbot will be more of a community project than just one person making a script for fun.

The Boston Glob

GlobThe Boston Glob is a humorous magazine dedicated to providing good clean laughs appropriate for all ages.  The Boston Glob consists entirely of submissions from the students of Magellan Day School.  While not an official school magazine, it has garnered tremendous popularity.  You can read the issues online, look at the digital domain (WeBsTuPh), use GlobOS (the online operating system), chat with friends, or attempt to read the Swedish or handwritten versions of the homepage.
