March End-of-the-Month Wrap Up

Today marks the end of March, and the start of April.  March had some amazing things happen in it this year, and here’s the post where I get to tell you about them.

WordPress

WordPress 2.5 was released this month, and it has tons of updates, mostly on the admin pages.  It even made the slow blog I have (sometimes taking over a minute to load a single page) faster with the addition of the (already installed on my blog) WP Super Cache plugin.

RuneScape

Jagex fixed up summoning.  This might not be big news for you non-RuneScapers out there, but this is one of the best updates of the year.  Amongst the top features of this update are the ability to gain experience from combat done by your summoned familiars, a longer amount Visit the blog to read more of March End-of-the-Month Wrap Up

Goblin Book?

So, I was killing Goblins today, for Mage EXP, and one of the dropped a “Goblin Book.” This is great, as I love the Runescape books.It made me wonder, though, do other NPC’s drop books? Will they? Or is it just Goblins? Visit the blog to read more of Goblin Book?

Looking back: When I was a n00b

When I was new to Runescape, 100 coins seemed like tons of money to me. Now, even 100k cannot buy me what I need. When I was new to Runescape, I thought of levels as levels. I thought that there was the same distance between level 1 and 2 as there was between 98 and 99. Now, I look at levels as experience. I see that 92-99 is almost the same as 1-92. I used to think that high leveled players were interested in anything I could make. Little did I know that full bronze is only cool when someone likes calling it chocolate.
