RuneScape goals status update

Nightgunner5 and his mosquitoI’ve been working my rear end off on summoning in the last few days.  I’ve almost completely exhausted my money, but what I’m running out of the most is summoning charms, so I’ve decided to fight some cockroaches with my mosquitoes.  I’ve got to choose between mosquitoes, where the main ingredient costs upwards of 3k although only one shard is needed, or albino rats, which require 75 shards (1,875 coins in shards alone) and requires blue charms which (I think) are the rarest.  I could also try spirit kalphites, but they require potato cactuses which can only be found in a room with the level 333 Kalphite Queen. Nightgunner5’s RuneScape Goals

I’d like to start off by saying that my current RuneScape goals and a daily (or more frequently) updating progress report of them will always be able to be found on the bottom of this blog, along with my click and key counts (also updating daily or more frequently).  I would like to give a thank you to WhatPulse and RSBandB for tracking them for me.

Anyway, my RuneScape goals for the month are as follows:

  1. Get enough coal for the 542 mithril bars needed to make arrows using the feathers that I bought from Nightfawn.
  2. Smelt the mithril bars.
  3. Smith the mithril arrowheads.
  4. Put the arrowheads on the headless arrows.
  5. Get ranked in summoning on the RuneScape highscores.
    • This not only makes me able to use summoning goal signatures, it also lets

March End-of-the-Month Wrap Up

Today marks the end of March, and the start of April.  March had some amazing things happen in it this year, and here’s the post where I get to tell you about them.

WordPress

WordPress 2.5 was released this month, and it has tons of updates, mostly on the admin pages.  It even made the slow blog I have (sometimes taking over a minute to load a single page) faster with the addition of the (already installed on my blog) WP Super Cache plugin.

RuneScape

Jagex fixed up summoning.  This might not be big news for you non-RuneScapers out there, but this is one of the best updates of the year.  Amongst the top features of this update are the ability to gain experience from combat done by your summoned familiars, a longer amount Visit the blog to read more of March End-of-the-Month Wrap Up

Goblin Book?

So, I was killing Goblins today, for Mage EXP, and one of the dropped a “Goblin Book.” This is great, as I love the Runescape books. It made me wonder, though, do other NPC’s drop books? Will they? Or is it just Goblins? Visit the blog to read more of Goblin Book?

Goal… COMPLETE!!!

Ok, so after thousands of willow trees died for no apparent reason, I am finally done with my goal…

Or at least the first part.

You see, I’m not cutting down trees for nothing, I’m cutting them down so I can get a high enough fletching level to make magic bows.  Woodcutting levels were just an added bonus.

Now, I’ll be in a bank on Runescape 24/7 (whether I’m logged in or not), carving my logs to bow-like shapes.

I would also like to bring an important issue to hand, world hunger.  Did you know you can help stop world hunger just by having a large vocabulary?  Go to http://www.freerice.com/.  I have donated 180 grains so far. Visit the blog to read more of Goal... COMPLETE!!!
