Netscape is not just a browser, it’s a browsing suite, but is now discontinued. Netscape users have been told to switch over to Firefox.

Netscape 2.02 apparently doesn’t support CSS or JavaScript. DQ’d.

Netscape 3.04 also doesn’t seem to support CSS, but gave an error telling me that functions are impossible. DQ’d.

Netscape 4.80, finally, supports css, but not too well. It does not support JavaScript in the way I would want it to, as you can see there are errors.

Netscape 6.2 supports JavaScript correctly.

Well, that post was very long. However, it was interesting and I learned about the many web browsers, so I don’t feel as if I was just locked in a room with a boring college proffesor ramblingon about whatever. This version of browser wars ROCKS!
I’m amazed that there are so many different browsers! Some of them can’t handle much, which is surprising. It’s encouraging, though, that newer versions often do better.
What’s in store for BW4? Can’t wait to learn more…or was BW3 all for now?
