I’ve been working my rear end off on summoning in the last few days. I’ve almost completely exhausted my money, but what I’m running out of the most is summoning charms, so I’ve decided to fight some cockroaches with my mosquitoes. I’ve got to choose between mosquitoes, where the main ingredient costs upwards of 3k although only one shard is needed, or albino rats, which require 75 shards (1,875 coins in shards alone) and requires blue charms which (I think) are the rarest. I could also try spirit kalphites, but they require potato cactuses which can only be found in a room with the level 333 Kalphite Queen.
I think I’ll go with the albino rats, since I only need 8 to get to level 30 summoning.
Anyway, Nightfawn is happy with her membership, ever since I showed her Catherby, I’m going ballistic trying to get the final two levels before automatic goal tracking will work for all of my skills. I tried Fist of Guthix, I lost every time.
I’d like to start off by saying that my current RuneScape goals and a daily (or more frequently) updating progress report of them will always be able to be found on the bottom of this blog, along with my click and key counts (also updating daily or more frequently). I would like to give a thank you to WhatPulse and RSBandB for tracking them for me.
Anyway, my RuneScape goals for the month are as follows:
Get enough coal for the 542 mithril bars needed to make arrows using the feathers that I bought from Nightfawn.
Smelt the mithril bars.
Smith the mithril arrowheads.
Put the arrowheads on the headless arrows.
Get ranked in summoning on the RuneScape highscores.
This not only makes me able to use summoning goal signatures, it also lets me use enchanted rune helmets to store summoning scrolls.
Do the Legends’ Quest for the cape.
Yes, I know that my goals seem a bit farfetched to do in one month, but I know I probably won’t finish all of them. I’ll feel good if I even finish the first one!
Ok, so after thousands of willow trees died for no apparent reason, I am finally done with my goal…
Or at least the first part.
You see, I’m not cutting down trees for nothing, I’m cutting them down so I can get a high enough fletching level to make magic bows. Woodcutting levels were just an added bonus.
Now, I’ll be in a bank on Runescape 24/7 (whether I’m logged in or not), carving my logs to bow-like shapes.
I would also like to bring an important issue to hand, world hunger. Did you know you can help stop world hunger just by having a large vocabulary? Go to http://www.freerice.com/. I have donated 180 grains so far.
But that’s still a lot seeing as my homework forces me to get 10 inventories or less per night… Anyway, I found the audio funny from this clip. (There is no video, just a still picture. Wish me luck with the rest of the goal!
Oh, and by the way, thanks for the 2.5k willows, Dokter Bob1, who I have seen almost every day at the willows, chopping right next to me. I won’t count them towards my goal, but they will help overall.
As you can see, the willow log tracker that I made is up and running at the top of my blog, but since the code is specialized for me, I’m not going to post it here. I should probably be talking about my goal, though, and not my tracker.
You can find the RSBandB forum topic here. I’ve been working so hard on getting the tracker onto my blog and cutting down willow trees that I completely forgot to blog about it. Here goes: Continue reading →
